Covid-19 Business Update December 2021

As of September, our showroom has opened again for sales on a walk in basis.

We would like to remind that all customer must wear masks within the showroom unless exempt.

We are able to offer both delivery and click and collect of any car purchase, which can be discussed in greater detail with our sales team.

Our Service & Parts departments continue to operate as normal and are ready to cater for your servicing, repairs and MOT requirements.

All our staff will continue to wear face coverings and protective screens are in place at every desk. Along with sanitising stations throughout the showroom.

Covid-19 Statement

With the news dominated by Covid-19, I wanted let you know we are stepping up our cleaning and are vigilantly implementing improved processes.

We are closely monitoring the guidance from the authorities regarding the spread of the virus and our focus is to ensure we meet customer needs whilst doing our part to keep everyone as safe as possible.

Here’s what we’re doing.

We’ve introduced cleaning of interiors of cars after each test drive, and courtesy car use. In particular, we are paying special attention to the places people touch such as steering wheels, door handles and other hard surfaces.

We are also cleaning our facilities more frequently with recommended sanitising products and encouraging all employees to be vigilant about frequent hand washing.

We are also encouraging visitors to use hand gel to sanitise their hands when they arrive on site.

If your car is with us for service, we will disinfect high touch areas (steering wheel, handbrake etc) and again before it is returned to you. We will also do the same for any car that you plan to take a demonstration in.

In addition, we are taking steps to ensure the welfare of our employees. This includes instructing employees who have a new cough or temperature to stay at home for 7 days consult 111 if symptoms do not improve over the 7 days.

We can also bring cars to you for test drive to help facilitate the purchase of your new vehicle.

We will continue to consult with Public Health Scotland, VW Group & relevant bodies and follow any guidance provided. As it is a continually changing situation, we will keep a close eye on all expert advice, and we will provide updates if anything changes here at Fife SEAT.
